Carry on Filming- Tier 1, 2 or 3 permits production to continue

With so much conflicting information out there, it's refreshing to have clarity!

Here is a useful update from Steve Davies,  Chief Executive at the Advertising Producers Association, below regarding the ability for production to continue even in a multi-tier environment. 

"The Government has announced that from tomorrow London is subject to Tier 2 Local Covid Alert Level Very High Restrictions. Tier 2 only has one additional restriction to Tier 1: households cannot mix indoors.

Being placed in Tier 2 does not affect productions or prevent you filming or working.You can attend a shoot or any other part of the production process that you can do better by being there, rather than being at home.

The Government says: “Businesses and venues can continue to operate, in a COVID-secure manner, other than those that remain closed in law” @ See too our mail out to members which went out on Tuesday: New Three Tier COVID Restrictions – Productions Can Continue!
